Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Jonas Mencl, a self-employed person (OSVČ), Pelzova 1514, 156 00 Praha 5 – Zbraslav, Czech Republic ("Leap", "we"), for your use of the Leap app and related services. By creating an account or using Leap, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Leap.
1. Who can use Leap
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password safe, and for what happens under it. Give us accurate information.
2. Your content
You own what you add (items, notes, photos, memories). You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it as needed to run Leap, including showing it to the people you choose through your visibility settings, and sending the necessary text to our AI provider to produce plans. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backup copies that expire.
You confirm that you have the rights to what you upload and that it doesn't break the law or anyone's rights.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use Leap to:
- post or share content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or that exploits or endangers children;
- impersonate others, spam, scam, or collect other people's data;
- attempt to break, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or bypass limits of the app or its AI features;
- use the AI features to generate harmful content.
You can report or block any user from their profile. We review reports and may remove content or suspend or close accounts that break these rules, usually without refund of any paid features.
4. AI features
Plans, cost estimates, travel suggestions, ideas and chat answers are generated by AI and may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. They are suggestions only, not professional travel, financial, medical, legal or safety advice. Check prices, opening times, visa and safety requirements, and the risks of any activity before you act. You are responsible for your decisions.
5. Paid features
Some features may require a paid plan ("Leap Plus"). Purchases are made through your Apple ID and are governed by Apple's terms. Prices, billing period and any free trial are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple. If a trial is offered, any unused part ends when you buy.
Features and limits (for example how many AI plans are included each month) may change; we'll tell you about meaningful changes to a plan you've paid for.
The standard Apple Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies. If it conflicts with these terms on a point it covers, the Apple terms prevail.
6. Our rights
Leap, its design, code, characters and accessories belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on your Apple devices. You may not copy, sell or exploit it except as the law allows.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Leap running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. We may update these terms; if the change is meaningful we'll tell you in the app, and continuing to use Leap means you accept the new terms.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or the law.
9. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, Leap is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for losses from relying on AI suggestions, or for activities you do in real life. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and €50.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. The competent courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring claims in their home courts.
